The items you purchased will be shipped from UNICEF’s warehouse in Copenhagen to children and families in need around the world to support UNICEF in saving children.

    When you order an item from Inspired Gifts, real items are shipped from our UNICEF warehouse in Copenhagen, Denmark, to children and families in need around the world.

  • Are Inspired Gifts real items?

    Inspired Gifts are real items that are distributed in response to real need. As a result, an item from the same category, in extreme circumstances, may be substituted by UNICEF in response to special need i.e. if there is a disease outbreak the value from one vaccine category may need to be substituted for another vaccine i.e. Polio vs Measles.

  • How do I know the items I send are helping?

    You can learn more about UNICEF’s work in UNICEF’s Annual Report. The report provides an overview of work that UNICEF has done in the previous year, including statistics and summaries. The report also introduces different projects, challenges, and achievements of UNICEF in the previous year. The Annual Report will be published every ().   • How long does it take for sending my gifts?

    By donating on Inspired Gifts, UNICEF sends items you have ordered to different places according to different demands. UNICEF also signs contracts with suppliers to ensure that all items are sent during emergencies.

  • What is an E-card?

    You can make your donation on behalf of your friends or someone you love, as a unique gift to celebrate those special days. After your donation, you may send a customised e-card to them. Your E-card will be sent according to your request. You will receive a notification after the E-card is sent.

  • Can I donate on behalf of others?

    Of course! UNICEF appreciate it if you make the donation in the name of the one you love. After your donation, you can send them an E-card and tell them they have helped someone in need over the world.

  • What items can I find on Inspired Gifts?

    UNICEF categorizes all Inspired Gifts according to the types of emergencies, which includes: Nutrition, Health, Education and Recreation, WASH, Vaccination, Shelter, Malaria, Transportation, and HIV & AIDS. You may know more details inside the description of each item.

  • How is UNICEF able to quantify the impact?

    The number of lives impacted by each survival gift has been determined by assessing how many of each item a person needs, or how many people each item can serve, to make a life-saving difference. This can range from the number of doses of a vaccine or food item that is needed to protect a child from a disease or condition; to the number of supplies for children in an educational or health kit; to the number of people that a water pump or tent has the capacity to support.

  • Why do some gift prices change from one year to the next?

    Inspired Gifts purchased globally from manufacturers are susceptible to price changes, as a result of exchange rate fluctuations, and changes in the cost of materials and shipment. Fortunately, global quantities are high enough to ensure UNICEF is able to find the best prices while adhering to UN quality standards.

  • Can my gift be directed to a particular country?

    Unfortunately, gifts cannot be directed to a particular country. Managing the delivery of items on this level would increase costs, and UNICEF wants to ensure your gift goes where it is needed most for the least amount of money.

  • Will my donation help fund the purchase of the item I bought?

    Your donation will be completely spent on the gift that you purchase. It means that when you order an item from Inspired Gifts for family or friends, real life-changing items are shipped from UNICEF’s warehouse in Copenhagen or one of UNICEF’s many suppliers to children and families in need around the world. As a result, an item from the same category, in extreme circumstances, may be substituted by UNICEF in response to need i.e. if there is a disease outbreak the value from one vaccine category may need to be substituted for another vaccine i.e. Polio vs Measles.

  • How long does it take for an Inspired Gift to reach a child?

    Inspired Gifts are sent to the field in a coordinated way depending on the needs identified by our local teams in the field. UNICEF also has established contracts with our suppliers, to enable the delivery of items in the event of emergencies, when timing can make a vital difference.

  • How does UNICEF decide what item should be included in the gift list and how does UNICEF decide the price?

    All items being displayed on the Inspired Gift website are selected from UNICEF’s catalogue, which is commonly used in UNICEF’s humanitarian rescue. The catalogue is organised and used by the back office and the logistics centre. It clarifies the price of each item. Thus, the price is stated according to the catalogue.

  • Does UNICEF accept item donation?

    UNICEF appreciates the effort from you. However, UNICEF does not accept item donation at this moment. With the consideration of item quality, safety, and demands of orders, UNICEF does not accept item donation.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

  • Do all Inspired Gifts qualify for a tax receipt?

    YES. In addition to helping children, all Inspired Gifts purchases qualify for a tax receipt. Tax receipts will be for the total gift amount of your purchase.
