Over 10,000 parents and children have benefited from UNICEF HK’s ‘for every child, hygiene’, which was launched in March. Hong Kong has gone through waves of COVID-19 outbreak, but the relevant frontline work has been making progress during tough times last month.
Globally, UNICEF has reached out to affected countries around the world since the start of the outbreak. Up to early of May, UNICEF has shipped more than 9.5 million relief supplies including protective suits, masks, goggles and gloves in support of over 50 countries as they respond to the pandemic.
The costs of the pandemic for children are immediate and may persistent. By your support, we can ensure COVID-19 does not threaten community development and help make families more resilient. UNICEF is leading the charge to Respond, to Recover and to Reimagine a world fit for every child. This starts with building back better and greener; investments in education, child protection, water, health and nutrition.
Please donate generously.
(In the unusual event that donations for the COVID-19 emergency exceed the needs, we will direct the gift to support children in crises. )
